Not that indestructable, it just started burning oil sadly. It's to be expected though, I beat the living crap out of it for about 3k so far and it was a 125k original shortblock when I got it. Almost time to slap together the ross/eagle combo I've got laying here.

well i will say i am rather disappointed with the video quality of the go pro. Olny reason i like it is becuase the mount actually stuck for multiple lapping sessions. Pissed me off though when it shut off for no reason on one run.

battery is about all it could have been. the card was not even close to full.

Make sure you don't have the auto-off turned on, it sets at 30/60/90/120 seconds. Weak batteries will turn it off too, HAVE to use lithium or some high mah rechargeable nimh cells. Regular alkalines won't work at all. I've had a set of li's in mine and gotten about 20 minutes of recording out of it and still going. Your vid quality seems pretty good? If you watch it on youtube, you need to click HQ or it looks like garbage due to their compression they use.

I was using lithium ion batteries and they did last a pretty long time. Just wish i would have known when they were going bad. I probably got close to 2 hours of footage out of them.

I think the display flashes when the batteries are low.

probably, but i never really used it much before to check or know what to look for, and when your at the track you don't have much time.
