ok most of u know my settup. in the morning it idles at 2500
when it heats all the way up its good how do i get it to go lower during cold/starting, without changing normal temp idle,
can i do anything w/ dsmlink to help?

Get an FIAV blockoff plate, I think you can get them at slowboy, extremepsi, and places like that. This will replace the entire bottom half of your throttle body and when you are done just set dsmlink to emulate an fiav. This has a few advantages and a few disadvantages in that you reduce intake temps because you will no longer be flowing hot coolant around your relatively cool intake charge and will make your engine bay look cleaner but it will also make your car harder to start in very cold weather <10 degrees or so. There are probably some other options but thats the one I know and have been considering since my car is only a summer car anyways.
Edit: I could also be mistaken, but I think 2500rpm isn't abnormal for a cold start.

If you don't have the FIAV blocked off then you should keep your coolant lines on or else your car will never melt the wax pellet.
