My talon has:
6 bolt
Big 16g
550 cc
3in exhaust

I believe it maybe be developing a light knock. The guy i bought it from ripped me off.

The Eclipse has:
6 bolt
mostly stock, 14b
Really clean

I honestly havent owned my cars long enough to prepare for any track racing.

No, unfortunately i cant keep both. And dont have time to rebuild the talon. So I will be getting rid of the talon.
Meanwhile, i'll be learning a thing or two with my gst. And will hopefully make a proper build out of it, and maybe in the future swap into an awd chassis.

when you say build? what sort of build? just a fast street Daily Driver or what?

Not sure yet. I mean how much can you do with a GST? So in all reality, yes probably a well tuned, medium hp, street car.

Im hoping to take it more of a learning process, and then translate it to another AWD 4g63 in the future, whatever that may be.

I think a 300whp GST with an LSD and some grippy rubber would kick ass on a road course!
