Thought I'd start a thread for this. Picked her up almost 2 months ago. So far i really enjoy this car (for the 10 miles I've got to drive it).

I'll start with posting some pics.

I can't see the pics at work, but I want to buy one with the same purpose.

are the holes in the turbo inlet for anything other then making a neato whistle noise?

its the anti-surge housing.

Oh man, that looks pretty hardcore.

From your dyno graph the turbo looks a bit on the laggy side, but I'm sure it does better on the street.

it is laggy if it were a street car, however it wont see the street very much. big track lag isnt really an issue and sometimes can be beneficial to keep the car smooth at corner exit.

seen the video on FB earlier, that was pretty sick. I thought I also read you were only about 1.5sec off the lap record? Thatd be sweet.

I always enjoy reading/watching your stuff. Keep up the good work!!!

What are the specs on the turbo? if you don't mind.

^ stock turbo

Definitely not stock when it says precision turbo on the turbo itself...plus "stock" evo turbos do not come with the nice anit-surge shroud housing.

^ yup 5857.

I'm 1.2 seconds from the lap record. (standing start)

I will be going back on the 28th, hopefully it will warmer out.

I have 3 things to help shave off 2 seconds:

1, Driving- I can brake deeper and I can take turn 5 much faster.
2, Trans- My 3rd gear synco is F'd, i cant downshift from 4th to 3rd at all.
3, Brand New C91 Hankooks. I ran some used C51's. The 91's should offer more grip right out of the box with less heat. This is a big help with a standing start.

We'll see. Hopefully the car stays running great otherwise.
