Winter projects

I was just given two winter projects from some military friends who are being deployed. The white car is 96 auto gsx which is getting rust repair, paint, and possibly some sort of new turbo set up which is undecided as of now

He got this car for 2100 with a 112k and no issues besides some rust.
The second car is a 96 TSi with a 132k that he got for 2300. I wish i could find prices like this for the quality that they got. This one needs very minor rust repair and some paint work. The main plan is to get all maitenance and any other drivability issues taken care of including a trans. He may be going for more power but he's not sure yet.

i would say that owning any DSM is a project in itself lol. i have my 97 GST torn down again.. full motor and tranny rebuild. going to try and do new breaks all around cap and rotors
