Hey all,

My name is Matt and I joined the site after many months of checking it out. I live in Cedarburg and I just got back into DSM's after finding the DSM of my dreams....a Durango Pearl 1995 GSX. The car needs plenty of TLC so I figure'd I would join hear to soak up as much info as I can.

I was the proud original owner of a 1997 Monarch Pearl Green GSX. I LOVED that car. I bought it in the fall of 1996 and moved out to California with it. The car had minimal mods...3 inch cat back, EVO 16g, intake. The best I ever ran with it was a 13.0 @ 105...through a high flow at on a 105 degree day!!! At that time, the car had 150,000 miles on it.

Anyway, I was using the car for a daily driver and I was going to get the motor rebuilt. The internet scared me with all of the crankwalk stuff so much, I was looking to build a 6 bolt for it. But, living in California at the time, the swap would have made the car totally illegal and just more of a pain than it was worth. I did not know what to do...so I drove an EVO and the GSX's fate was sealed.

I sold the GSX and bought a 2005 Evo MR. I love the Evo...but I always wanted another GSX. I moved back to Wisconsin and had more room ( and money) so I found the car I always wanted....so here I am!!

I love that monarch green pearl color... So you still have the evo and the GSX now? That seems to be getting more and more popular around here :(

I still have the Evo....I really love the car. The driving experience is different...The GSX is far from fun to drive right now.

Here are some pics of the new GSX and the Evo and my favorite pic of my old GSX.
