Hey all,
My name is Matt and I joined the site after many months of checking it out. I live in Cedarburg and I just got back into DSM's after finding the DSM of my dreams....a Durango Pearl 1995 GSX. The car needs plenty of TLC so I figure'd I would join hear to soak up as much info as I can.
I was the proud original owner of a 1997 Monarch Pearl Green GSX. I LOVED that car. I bought it in the fall of 1996 and moved out to California with it. The car had minimal mods...3 inch cat back, EVO 16g, intake. The best I ever ran with it was a 13.0 @ 105...through a high flow at on a 105 degree day!!! At that time, the car had 150,000 miles on it.
Anyway, I was using the car for a daily driver and I was going to get the motor rebuilt. The internet scared me with all of the crankwalk stuff so much, I was looking to build a 6 bolt for it. But, living in California at the time, the swap would have made the car totally illegal and just more of a pain than it was worth. I did not know what to do...so I drove an EVO and the GSX's fate was sealed.
I sold the GSX and bought a 2005 Evo MR. I love the Evo...but I always wanted another GSX. I moved back to Wisconsin and had more room ( and money) so I found the car I always wanted....so here I am!!
