I think it was originally a huyndi valve cover or something. I believe it may be powder coated, not sure. Eithway its pretty unique. I had it on my car and it kept filling up the center part with oil so I took it off and J/B welded where it looked like a small crack might be and it still leaked. Should be fixable, im just getting sick of it.
also comes with longer bolts needed for the outside since this cover is thinker than a normal one.
