I had recently removed some items from the car so I decided to weight them so people could have an idea of what it weight and if it was worth getting rid of for them.
Spare tire- 28lbs
Factory amp and CD changer-13lbs
AC evaporator- 5lbs
Sound deadening- 13lbs
Firewall sound deadening mat- 10lbs(With the dashboard and hvac system removed this can still be a bit of a pain to remove all of it. Might be best to do if you have the dash pulled for another reason. Its a large project for the 10lbs savings.)
I did not get a chance to weight the leather seat and factory seat belts before I got rid of them. If anyone has items to add to the list go ahead and post them, it would be cool to get a giant list together. Here is the sound deadening materials removed from the car.
