Hey guys...haven't posted in awhile. But I've had some recent issues with my 98 GSX. I'll do my best to explain them and hopefully maybe some answers come back

First off is me not being able to build more than like 2lbs of boost. I'll post a video showing what happens but when I get into boost it just starts like popping and won't build anymore boost. It does the same if I try and brake boost as well. We did a boost leak test and found one leak but might have another one possibly (actual tester had a small leak in it also, so couldn't hear the best).

Second is my shift knob. While in gear mainly 1st and 2nd there is A LOT of play, its not solid at all.

And lastly is my clutch pedal, after being depressed and if I lift my foot up it takes like 3/4 of a second to come all the way back up, I'm pretty sure it should come up faster than that.

Well let me know if you have any ideas for any of my issues and thanks for reading.

Shift knob problem: buy symborski shift kit or make your own. Look it up.

Slow clutch pedal I assume is the master cylinder poopin out on ya. Not sure on this one, just a possibility.

Do you have mbc? maybe turn it up loil

popping is a sign of ignition problems. start with plugs and wires. visually inspect the coil pack. i had one fail on me once, kinda looked like it exploded out the side of itself.

when a coil goes it throws a cel?

is it throwing codes?

I would check your turbo and all boost/vac lines for cracks.

is it smoking at all?

I just got a brand new coil pack

Codes are for TPS and O2 sensors, but we erased those and it still did the same thing

Will look for cracks and such

And no smoking.

you just erased them?.....why not replace the parts its throwing codes for?

its a nice car, dont push aside maintenance.
