The other day I did an oil change and noticed that the bracket on my damper was cracked in half.

I called the company that makes them to see what they could do for me, no word yet. Probably end up making my own lower bracket.

They said they will sell me a new replacement for $45. I think they should send it to me for free. Too bad I can't find my invoice.

i had one of those on my evo too. i really dont know how much those things really do. i think stiffer engine mounts would do the same job, cost less, and save weight.

I'm not sure how much it did, but it did do something or it wouldn't have snapped. Welding it up and paint it and back on the car it goes.

When I did the polymounts on my GSX I didn't really car for the vibriation. Maybe it was just the car, but I don't wanna have that with the evo.
