few questions
does any one have one?, do you like it?, are they alot better than a mhi evo16g?
are they worth the 1400$?
My god, you still haven't decided on a turbo yet? You are crazy.

to be honest, start with the 16g, max that turbo out, then move on.

That quite the difference it turbos. There really not comparable. But i have heard that they are nice turbos. Call beyond redline and ask for louie and ask him what he thinks about that turbo

Thats quite a bit for a turbo, what do you have for fuel and tuning? You might be better served to buy a 16g 18g or fpgreen and use the money you saved to do some headwork (and fix the parts you are going to break).

660 injectors, dsmlink ,walboro 255, 272 cams, ....and much much more
i like the evo 16g i got but i kind of want to put that on my 2g and get a bigger turbo on my 1g (cuz thats the one thats built up )
how much cheaper is a green set up than a fp3065 set up
plus i want more hp - go big and tow it home

Okay, I was under the assumption that you were still pretty much stock and deciding on a first turbo because of dizzm's posts but that is still quite a bit more money (and turbo) than a 16g especially since you need an external wastegate. If you really are looking for a drag car though it probably isn't a bad choice at all but in the little bit that I've researched turbos that big I really liked the looks of the borg-warner s300 from slowboy. If you want to see what will complement your setup the best though try looking at http://www.dsmtimes.org/

You may want to look into a Holset turbo as well.... The HX35 seems to be within your power range and needs, and from what I've heard and read, is an awesome turbo.

whats the one in your pic??
what kind of power can a holset perduce?? i looked them up but their not very specific on trims and so forth, more for diesel trucks, kind want to stick with somthing that has been proven over and over ya know?
who runs what turbos ?

Holsets are everywhere on Tuners, there's 3 parts to a monster thread that covers any and everything about them. You might want to check that out.
As for the turbo in my avatar, that's a quick Google search for Turbo. It seems to be a Garrett that would have no problem blending a small child.

ha, thats what im building my other one for!!!!!!!
i just want to blow away every one at street races with the 1g
plus i motocross so i dont need any more turns i even get jumps with my corners
I have a fp88hta and I love it. With your mods I would go bigger than a fp3065 unless you do a gt3076r which is the same turbo but with a t3 exhaust side to produce higher power. Do you want to stay with a 2g manifold or go t3 or t4?

dont really matter i like mitsu better i guess?? price matters more.
i dont want to go to big of a turbo its not a stroker, and i hate lag
(lots of it anyway) the fp3075 spools a little late dont it?
reveiws on 3065 and 75 were both good, 75 spools little later
i still want it to be fun on the street!!! u think ill need bigger injectors than 660s? i would probly run out of gas if i went 3075?? what u think???

what does the fp88hta spool at ? thats a turbo!! if i put that on id probablly be replacing my bearings alot!!!!!
660's will get you 400-450 safely but I'd upgrade to some 880's or something equivilent, depending on what horsepower numbers your shooting for. My turbo spools around 5300 rpm's at 32 pounds. I take it to 8200 so my power band is quite fun for a large turbo. What I like about my turbo is that I kept the dsm housing on it because it has a big wheel to support high horsepower up top and still has a streetable spool with the smaller exhaust a/r. I'd yield better pump gas power with a t3 or t4 housing but I am meeting my limits on a stock ecu. The turbo setup does add up depending on if you are going to make your own downpipe or buy one from fp. But I love those turbos and you truely get what you pay for. I wouldn't skimp on your turbo decision.

I should be getting track video of Coty's car tomorrow if it doesn't rain. How about a little teaser video...

Talk about snapping a speedo in seconds flat.
Sorry for the crappy video quailty, don't have any programs at home to do a good job. but whatev, guess thats why its a teaser.
This friday if it don't rain. Next friday as well, btw there is going to be a huge event next friday at WIR. The track is going to be rented out from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until RSD starts. There is going to be some sweet cars there, a brand new Skyline will be running, and a couple sweet customer cars, Harvey and Me will be supporting the front wheelers. It's free to watch until RSD starts.
