Just buy a 1G BOV and be done with, save your money and spend it on something else that will actually gain you hp.

my mechanic say the one i have looks like a 1g.. we are looking for a better sound and spending 50 buck on a knockoff isnt bad if it can sound like a greddys. and our hp is stopping at 350 w dont want anymore then that

So your looking for the BOV sound so you can be cool, and would rather do that than actually make your car fast? Those knockoff BOV are junk. If you got a 1G BOV leave it on there its good for 25PSI.

we are making our car fast but we dont wanna be crazy stupid with the hp. we got kids and the car will be mostly a daily driver for spring, summer and fall

Alright then leave the BOV alone if its a 1G BOV. Its more than enough for your goals then, dont spend hundreds of dollars just to make it sound different, thats just a waste of money.

That is as close as you'll get for performance wise to the Greddy Type-S bov. That is the only one that's ACTUALLY good if not better than the greddy since the diaphram is built better.
If you want to save a little money then get a knock off greddy style bov from ebay, buy a diaphram from greddy or NGR and swap out the internals.
But like everyone else said if you aready have the 1g then keep the 1g. No need to crush it if your only looking for 300-350hp range either. My guy is running a non-crushed 1g bov @ 30 psi and sounds nice. Doesn't leak or anything...he just modded it to work right.

You must be careful when crushing the diaphragm cap, for it is possible to overdo or underdo the crushing. Both won't yeild the results you wish for.

we are just going to leave it for now and work on other things like fuel pump injectors and turbo back exhaust
