will that fit on a DSM. i just barely fit my 17x8 with a 255/40-17 tire.

i have seen some of the black interior go for quite a bit. i'd post it on the dsmlink forum as well.

A +35 is very close to the spindle but people have got them to tuck under the fenders, +25 has plenty of clearance on the inside but has little chance of clearing the fenders. I'm still exploring wheel options to see if I can find something inbetween. I may wait until winter to buy some race rubber. I've already spent more than I was planning on this year.

well, my 17x8's are a 40mm offset and i used 8mm spacers and they just cleared the knuckle by a pinky and the do rub on the fender if i corner SUPER hard.

what size tire do you plan on running... not sure how much better you can get than a 255 on a DSM (at least without the tires sticking far out of the fenders)

PS,...moving this to a new thread. :)

The stock EVO 8 rims with 255/40/17s fit about the same as my aftermarket 17" which I think were a 35mm offset. The offset on the stock 16" 3000GT wheels however must be way different since I needed spacer.

255 is the largest I will run. If I get 8" wheels I'll probably just run a 245. Haven't made up my mind on anything yet.
