hi my name is steve. i picked up my first dsm this summer and happened to melt a piston a few weeks later....newb mistake. i just got done putting in a another motor i bought from my friend who blew his tranny in his fwd laser....the guy he got the laser from recently rebuilt head as the result of a snapped timing belt....hopefully this motor lasts...lol...right now im running a small 16g and a 3 inch downpipe but have a lot of things to put in it(aem wideband, 2 front kyb gr-2 struts,hard uicp,dejon intake pipe,3 inch catback minus the axle back part...gotta get that custom made yet) plus a lot of body work
i have been reading about dsms since i was 16 but never got the chance to own one til now....and i finally got my license(yes im 20 y/o lol, always had friends with there license so i didnt really need one) im always willing to learn more about theses cars and appreciate all the help and knowledge submitted by you guys :)
so far i have only met stonedracer to pick up my struts, but i look forward to meeting the rest of you and particpating in all the dsm meets and im more then willing to lend a helping hand to those who need it
just saying im glad to be here and cant wait to join in on all the fun shit you guys talk about, i think all of you will see that im a pretty easy guy to get along with and a big thing with me is respect...ive been burned by a few dsmers thus far and it doesnt make me happy...trying to convince your family that your car is your dream and that theres a large supportive community to help you and then getting screwed over by a few people dont work to well...im an honest, respectful person and i expect to be treated the same which the majority of you understand...sorry for writing a novel but this is the intro section right lol...and as most of you know you i have been posting in the forums for a while now but never had time to type all of this out until now...
well its about that time... see you all later and i hope to see you guys at some meets this winter and next summer thanks, steve
