acura integra help (yes i know its a dsm forum)

so my sisters bf has a 97 integra ls non vtech. he was driving normally and all of a sudden it just shut off. now he absolutly no spark and it wont start. replaced plugs,wires, and ignition coil (whoever thought it would be funny to put a distributor on a 4 cyl can blow me) if i crank it over with the key it does nothing but if i push start it it will start and run for about 10 seconds. but if i pull the wires and check the spark i get nothing. any ideas? im thinking ecu.

and i dont know if its throwing a code or not because the cel was on from an o2 sensor.

Maybe a wire or plug off the alternator that came off, had.the same problem with my friends srt4 wire just kept coming off, hed crawl under his car plug in some wire and it would start. Just a suggestion

turned out that a spring inside of the distributor wasnt making a good contact and needed a new one and everything cleaned out. works great now.
