My name is Daniel and I have an 04 Stratus RT coupe (3rd gen eclipse). I am planning on doing AWD with it and am going to be using the rear end of a 2g and some Evo parts. So I figured I might as well join.

why? SRT-4's are not AWD

the front end is going to be where alot of the work will need to be done. the 2G AWD gas tank and subframe bolt right in to mine. if i keep the V6 Ill need a custom Evo bellhousing and subframe. If I go with the 4G63/64, Ill need a notch cut out and reinforced on the front subframe that comes with the car. well see how it goes. this will probably mean Ill own it forever

the SRT4 is an actual Chrysler so I dont believe it would fit like it does on mine

everyone has evo's. Be original :)
But there are a lot of factors. If you have the know-how and the tools to do a swap for a decent price I'd say go for it.
If you wanted a better return on investment, I'd just buy an AWD dsm or evo and save the headache.
