Well i have a prosport digital WB and it's signal wire is soldered to the ecu using the rear o2 pin out.

The problem is that my wb is not changing in small enough increments between lean and rich condition's. it is currently changing in increments of 0.3v's.

Trying to find some feed back from anyone who has used these WB's before.

This is my ecmtuning thread. if you have access to the fourm it might shed some more light on the situation.>>>http://www.dsmlink.com/forums/showthread.php?p=434209

I've been following that thread to see how it panned out. Sounds to me like a mechanical gauge issue. Did you find out when you called if the Prosports even read in smaller increments? or is it just your gauge?

Prosport gauges are shitty.

so basically this is what is happening. Screen shot 11.32.12 is of my WB.

My WB has a very flat Volt range at idle and a properly working WB should have a bit of variation of volts at idle. Like the screen shots show.

I'm a bit lost and I don't feel like reading. Is the wideband output going straight to the ecu or do you still have a rear o2? And I assume the output is 0v to 1v? Not 0v to 5v like a wideband. Do you have a factory front o2? Does your wideband have a display that reads how it should or is that all f ed up too?

The wb is going to the rear o2 ecu pinout, There is a stock front 02 still in the system(working properly). The wb is suppose to read in a scale of 0 to 5 volts. The digital display is reading the same as ECMlink. Well its actually off by .1 but it still follows the data log accurately.

So the prosport gauge is reading the same as to factory front o2 correct? But the output into dsm link isn't reading correctly? The prosport I just looked at said 0-5v output for datalogging. Disconnect the wire and put an analog (can't be digital) voltmeter on it and see what it is reading when running. If its only outputting a .3v change then I would say you need a new one.

No the WB is not reading the same as the front o2. It has its very own defined signal in link. Its basically not reading the same as other wb's on the market. Why cant the volt meter be digital?

As much trouble you are going through with this thing, wouldn't it be worth it to just pick up a AEM WB unit? Proven and reliable!

Granted no one wants to have to buy 2 widebands, as you are essentially throwing money away.
