Ghost CEL

[Integra 26R]

So I rebuilt an engine in a 91 after the timing belt blew and now it has a check engine light. Doesn't always come on right away but it does sooner or later. The problem is that when I check it (analog volt meter) it throws the code for normal operation. Anyone ever have that happen?

sort of....it was the front 02 sensor going out.
