Just finished project! Electrical problem! Help!!

So I just got done rebuilding my car. Put a new bottom end in it, well it started and runs great!! Few things I noticed where bad, when I hit my breaks while the car is on the radio and abs light turns off. Untell I let the breaks go them it turns back on. Also, wen the car is off the windows won't roll up radio won't turn on, that's all I really noticed. I was pretty bummed about it so I gave up. Does anyone know what this could be? Btw, when I first started trying to start it, it didn't have enough juice to start so I tried a different battery, and ever since then all this has happened, I put my bat back in and let it charge a little and that's when it started. I don't know what's going on with it...?

Any stock dsm has issues with electrical power. The brakes will always dim the lights slightly because of the incredibly weak alternator and electrical system. If you have a further electrical issue those problems will be exacerbated. I suspect you have a problem with your alternator or battery so start there. If both test good then you should be looking at a ground problem. Follow your wiring again for your grounds and if none of that fixes it then post back.
