blown turbo?

how can i tell if my turbo is blown the car blows smoke like crazy 1-4 th then stops but still runs fine dosent knock or anything turbo going any answers? thnx:mad:

pcv vavle? mine did the same thing really bad. fixed it. also dont advise running both vavlecover hoses straight to the catch can if dd

how do i run the lines

take the intake tube off the turbo and check for play

run the hose from the intake manifold to the valve cover, then the valve cover to catch can and then to intake so it still functions.

Check to see if the fins contact the housing if so it needs a rebuild. also check in and out play and up and down.

but you could just take off the mani slightly and see if it smokes there then upstream, or see if o2s caked in oil then oils seal on turbo more then likely

Does it make boost like it should and does it sound like a dentist drill. If you answer no to the first or yes to the second then you have an issue.
