alright i have a 95 talon tsi awd wit a 97 tsi motor wit a 95 ecu non eprom. i have replaced the alternator, starter, coolent temp sensor, o2 bank 1 sensor, thermastat, im gasket, injector seals, coil packs, spark plug wires and throttel body gaskets. after doing this some how the car sounds like its running on a dead cyclinder. i have spark and i pulled the fuel rail off to see if the injectors where working and they are and my compression on all found cyclinders are between 150 and 170. i know im getting spark and fuel. i have done a boost leak test and fixed them all and not leaking any more. any one have some ideas???????????

If the cam sensor is under the intake cam gear, its a 95-96 and you can't get that backwards. If its on the other side of the head, its a 97-99 and it won't drop a cylinder if its backwards. Sounds like you missed something.

And a bad coil would drop two cylinders not one.
