on vfaq, it says to take off the blower cover and look for the single wire with a female spade connector for the o2 sensor-i didnt see it or look hard enough. what would i contect to it?
should i follow this diagram
can someone who has done this help me out?
thanks

Honestly, I would NOT put it in your car unless you want a light show all the time. It is just going to sweep back and forth from rich to lean. I would put in a wideband if your trying to monitor actual air to fuel. The narrow band gauge you have will only tell you that you O2 is working properly. There is a reason they are cheap.
Hope this helps.

The last car I had that had a narrowband gauge in it the gauge was bad and caused my engine to run lean and blow a piston.

if its basicly montering, how does it do something like that?

Having played with narrowband output to match it against wideband output for my own experience I can tell you that it is nearly useless for any tuning even when it is on a graph of logged output that can be paused and compared. Trying to use a gauge would be even less useful.
You'll need an actual wideband unless you're just trying to fill a gauge spot.

Cause the ecu uses the o2 signal for closed loop operation and the gauge was grounding out the signal.
