Marshfield Auto-X, Sunday July 18th. C'Mon DSM/EVO'ers

Ok, i already talked with the weather man, and its gonna be sunny with no rain.

At the Marshfield Super Speedway just west of Marshfield on Cty Rd H about 3 miles.

We'll also be doing another 60ft challenge.

8:30am - Registration & Tech opens. Course open for walking
9:00am - 60-foot Challenge starts
10:00am - Registration Closes, 60ft challenge ends.
10:15am - Mandatory Drivers Meeting
10:30am - First Car Out
(End - 4-5pm)
Fun-Fun-Runs start,...


This is a great place to learn how to drive your car. All you need is a DOT helmet, and make sure wheels are on tight and battery is tied down. Hope to see more DSM's out there!

Cost is $25 for CWSCC/FVSCC members, $35 for non members.

To Join CWSCC, its $20 for your 2010 AND 2011 membership. You'll then receive discounts at all CWSCC events for 2010 and 2011.

its worth the drive. bring a friend or 3, it'll be a good time. this would be a great first event. its more relaxed than some of the SCCA or other milwaukee events.

Sounds like a perfect event to check out auto-X finally. I'll be there, planning on showing up as a spectator but might go onto the track depending on how many people show up. If there's a bad turnout and/or its mostly CWSCC guys.. I may have to try it out

Trust me, if you get out and try it you'll never want to just sit and watch! Its cool to see what others are doing, but without a piece of the action your cheating yourself.

Believe me I'd love to but it's too far of a drive. I'd have to stay the night before and probably after just for it and money is tight right now :(

I've done several Milwaukee events. I leave at 6am and usually get back by 7-8ish.

I tell ya what, anyone driving from over 100 miles away automatically gets membership pricing ($25).

it's well worth your time to drive up from kenosha for it!! Like Dizmm said, much much more laid back than the milw events. and yes, it can be a day event for you. as long as you're there by 930am or so, you have plenty of time. and you could easily be on the road by 5 or sooner if you didn't want to stay for fun runs. either way, well worth the trip up. bring some friends too!

dang, sold mine in that size this spring. i'll keep an eye open though. you check with ExtremeDSM? he usually has some stock size tires around. at least he used to.

Unfortunately I won't be there for this event... I have my dental hygiene test in Minneapolis at 7 am for a few hours then have to drive back. Everybody have a fun time for me!

After a 3 year hiatus the 1g will be hitting the course again. I think it will do pretty well. If I could run good times with the 50 trim FP2s and stock suspension w/ 100k on it, it should hold its own in its current setup. I expect to be in the top 25% of the field.
