i just bought a 97 eclipse gs-t spyder and to the right of the engine, above the belt (which i believe keeps the camshafts in timing) their is no cover, and i was looking at other guy's car's and they all had cover over this area, i was wondering if mattered or not? sorry if i sound stupid, i just bought the car and dont know much about it but im trying to read and learn, i learned about this website because their was a sticker on the car that said wi-dsm.com, please let me know if i should do something about this or if its fine, thanks for reading this

if you plan on driving it in winter, crazy rain storms, gravel or dirt, id put one on, otherwise run it like it is.

You would think you would notice it and not lean on that.
