can anybody 1g 91-94 n/t that has never messed with the adjustible link on the shifter cable on the one that goes left to right take a picture of it, close enough to count the threads on the screw part.
mine got lose somehow and i tightend it back to were it goes in to all gears but sometimes grinds into second and a little bit in to 3rd, i want to get it back to normal and see if it helps,

just look at the nut where the cable tightens up for some discoloration.try to get it close then make adjustments from there. trial and error would prolly be your best bet cuz that woudl take a realy good camera to take a picture that detailed,plus all of them are slightly different

So re adjust it until it feels right. Your car isn't exactly new anymore and I imagine the cables have stretched since then.
