So ive come across 2 really good deals and need some input before I make my decision.
evo3 big 16g for $200 (or)
FP 20g for $400
Is the 20g worth $200 more? I know 16g's normally go for 400-450 but in both cases the people need money. Ive seen pictures and both look really good.
Im leaning towards the 20g but before I buy something this important i'd like some feedback from more informed dsmers than myself.

Both turbos spool at about the same time. The big difference is the 20g will keep pulling until redline, where the 16g seems to fall off at around 5k rpm's.

fp 20g, is it the 6SL2? I would go 20g depending on the hotside.
or my Holset setup :):) spools a tad later but flows more than both!

Damn if you get that 20g hook me up with the 16g lol. I would personally go with the 20g. It will give your car more potential later on.

I dont even know what 6sl2 is lol.
And I still want your holset setup!! Im just bored with the t-25 and wanted something new to play with until you're ready to sell.
The person with the 20g wants 480 shipped now so I think im going to pass on that. Just isnt worth that much to me knowing im going to go with your Holset eventually.

just get the evo 3 and port the exhaust side your car is awd its not like your gonna rev it to ten grand the seven cm exhaust side pulls hard till 7k on 24 psi with proper mods internally gated it might choke a little more.

My 16g is clipped and has like a 38mm wastegate flapper and has no problems holding boost until redline. I also have a 20g and I think they are overrated for what they are.

agreed ive never heard some buy a good evo 3 and be like man I should have bought the 20g. They flow about 30 more hp than a 16 but that can be fixed and they are not as laggy as a 20g.

Get the 16g and if you get bored later just sell it again. It will be an incredible kick in the pants vs the t25 especially since you already have the mods to support it. FWIW my 16g puts me in the same load range during spoolup that the t25 makes when you're wringing out every bit of flow it has to offer.

e16G + e85 and supporting mods = a lot of fun.
