So my last pass sunday something let loose in the trans. I was sure it was a tob till i pulled the Pressure plate off today and one of my springs on the disk was almost ripped all the way out.
So im looking for a clutch and im not shure what year i would purchase Since the motor is a 6 bolt and the trans is a 2g would i just buy the 6 bolt clutch?
Sorry for the newb question.

You need clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate to match your trans. so if you have a awd you need everything awd and so on.

id just order a lightweight flywheel and clutch assembly for a six bolt fwd off line your best bet of not messing up the clutch assembly

The clutches are the same between 6 and 7 bolts. Its the flywheel thats different between the two.

if it wasnt slipping i would just stick a new disc in it,40 bucks and your back on the road.it didnt feel like it was slipping before so ya i would just put a disc in unless that spring scarred up the pressure plate and shit.
