Alright, lets start a list of stuff you can do for weight reduction. I'd like to get my car a few hundred pounds less yet.

Lets build 2 lists, one with the "Free" weight Reduction and then another with replacement parts for weight reduction. Also what parts weigh what...

Some obvious "free" weight reduction:
A/C Components
Front bumper Crash Beam
Rear bumper Crash Beam
Air Bags (not the cover)

Extreme should be a pro at this!

Remove sound deadening from floor
Remove thick sound/heat mat from firewall in passenger compartment
Gut the dash and just use the shell

Not so cheap, but the stock 2G leather seats are tanks IIRC, so replacing those would help.

V2 already has racing buckets. My car on the other had has power leather seats, however I'm not too concerned about the lightest weight possible at this time. I am concerned about staying in the leather seat on the track. I figure if I have to, I can probably sell the black leather seats for close to what some new racing seats would cost.

My Corbeau Forza seats weigh i think 19lb ea. That’s about 20lbs less per seat than stock.

Dv2 is 80% track use, 20% street use. If you car is more than 50% street use, there is no reason to gut the car and make it all light. Weight Reduction is basically things you will sacrifice for performance. (EX: No Radio, uncomfortable seats, loud cockpit, ect...)

the Omni is light the way it is. no sound deadoning from the factory. tin-can thickness metal everywhere. basically it was built so cheap you can't do much weight reduction.

what about manual steering rack though?? i wouldn't mind that.
