rpm gauge

ok so my rpm guage worked just fine before my motor swap and well now it dont work at all... lil help please its a 91 talon fwd 5speed i had a 90 motor and trans if that makes a difference

its controlled by the "ignitor" i think thats what its called its late its on the drivers side of the intake manifold. The 90 motors need a 90 gauge cluster my 91 gauge cluster wouldnt work...the tach that is in my 90 until i converted it to 91 status.
