oil pressure

i noticed that when at a stop light and the car is idling, my oil pressure goes down past the line. when i start moving it oes back up to normal. any one know y?

thats normal mine at idle sits bout 1/4 inch to half inch from botom line dont worry bout it

i had a 1.8 talon awhile back that would sit on the bottom line and not go much higher.it was a worn oil pump but it didnt cause any problems and that car got its ass kicked everyday.oil changes didnt help it oil treatments didnt help ,nothing did.

had no problems beating the living shit out of the 1.8(didnt own it long)mabe 2 months.the red 1g didnt get any beating at all and its been a head ache since i bought it.
when i got it i knew it needed a tranny.rebuilt that,and the damn timing tentionor went out.finaly got a new one and couldnt get the fucker timed.then couldnt register it(no money),finaly got it registered by letting my brother in law use it and the power steering pump started leaking,not a big deal but pissed me off.got the car back and had it 3 days and my g/f locked the keys in it at work.left it ther over night and some nice peice of shit smashed out 3 windows for me so i could get into it.
so everything gets squared away and now this peice of shit has somthing else wrong in the trans/clutch area and i dont want to turn a single bolt on it.besides the fact that its 2 cold im tired of working on the peice of shit i want to scrap it but my damn g/f wont let me mabe its somthing stupid and im just over reacting but i am tired of working on
1gs and dont plan on ever owning another one
