so heres what happened i went up north for a couple days and when i came back i found out someone broke into my garage stole my cd player, my in dash t.v. and my safc2, they also tried to hotwire my car but thankfully they were to retarted. but now i have to get to work and my key no longer turns my ignition lock, do i have to replace it? and how do i get it out to replace it, please help i really dont have the money to get it towed to a dealership or anything.

were do you live i could swing by if u r near i have to see the damage
u may have to remove wheel to take ignition cylender out if its like a chevy
eather way remove cylender and use a screwdriver if possible

i live in madison, anyway you could give me instructions on how to do this i dont want to fuck it up even more...

is the key cylinder broke off or still intackt ---- behind that (take it off)should be a thing u can stick a screw driver in or use a needle nose pliers to turn it over --- also make sure any rods or linkages are not bent out of working order

its still intact but how do i get it off without breaking it even more? i dont really have money for a locksmith, i missed work today cuz of this bs.

usually a rod pushes a starter button , keycylinder unlocks wheel if u remove cylinder u should be able to turn it to a unlockd position and manually start it
