What do you need to convert a 1991 Eagle Talon TSi FWD automatic to AWD. Let me know and about how much it would cost. thanks guys

this is just a shot in the dark since iv never done it before.but an awd trans transfer case rear end drive shaft,and mabe redo the exhaust.but i wouldnt convert it,id buy an awd

ya i could only find 2g conversions,no 1gs.theyre prolly out there but i dont see how that much work would be worth it either way.awd is a headache waiting to happen,weather it be a stupid tire problem shitty clutch problem or a tranny problem.

YOU CANT there are no mounting holes on a 1g fwd for the rear end assembly only the 2g's can be converted i no it sucks!

Its not really the mounting holes its the fact that the entire floorpan is completely different. Theres thousands of 1gs out there. Go buy another one.

yeah, MUCH MUCH cheaper to just buy a 1g AWD for $2g's over the 1000 hours of work and a complete 1g AWD parts car which would be needed.

I had a 97 Spyder that had an AWD conversion, that was fun. But was only done because there were no AWD spyders. if there was, i woulda just bought a factory AWD one.

^ that was his other one... i remember going to pick up that car after a full day of drag racing... that was a long day of driving, especially for Dizmm in that car with a race seat pulling a trailer! ha
