04 VIII, looks mostly stock except for a catback system.
I don't even know where to start with it, I'm like a little kid with a new toy.

I was debating between this one and another that looks identical to yours. Love the blue, but chose the white go figure.

Just got back from Appleton, picked up a set of stock rims with damn near brand new blizzaks for 500. Thought it was a good deal, tires are $150 a piece new and rims are not easy to find cheap.

IMO the first thing to do is go to limitless.co.nz and buy a cable and the software. I'm not sure what you were using for logging your 2g but evoscan has been great for me and the cable allows you to flash the evo ecu.

The second mod for this car is free, disable your EGR system and take the EGR solenoid off the car (under the IM) and swap it to where the BCS is. This gives you a 3port bcs capable of much more boost without giving up computer control which will be very nice when you switch to a Tephra modded rom and you can control boost based on Gear/RPM. Tephra mods also provide things like NLTS, launchmaps, switchable altmaps, valet mode, CEL on knock, IC spray on knock, drop boost on AFR safety, and larger maps for tuning.

After that get tuning, that car is capable of much more than it has right now without spending more money on it

I use DSMlink V3 software w/v2 cable on my DSM.

I really have to get up to speed with all things Evo.

Thanks for the tips.

Aimed at me? Yes I have, I moved up when it was still v6 so that my fwd would have a chance at having traction through 1st and 2nd with lower boost. I've since moved to a v7 rom with the new style definitions and bigmaps.
