Ok guys need some help.
Topline Oil Pump BRAND NEW.
I cranked the motor over like recommended and i am getting NO oil pressure Zero Zip Nada Not even a blip on my greddy guage or the stocker.
Timing marks are lined up.
Any Ideas?
Did you remove the balance shafts? Correctly? Did you prime your oil pump with assembly lube?

Balance shafts are removed.
Not shure if the pump was primed. Motor was built by mechanic.
Any way to prime it after the motors in the car?

Balance shafts were removed before i purchased the car checked them out the first time everything was kosher.
My Mechanic just honed the block and installed the pistons/rods.
The motor sat on the stand for 3 months before i could install it.
Is there anyway i can prime the pump without having to take the case off?
You dont need to take the case off to prime it.
Put a drill (NOT IMPACT) on the oil pump gear/nut and spin it for a good 10 seconds... You should be able to hear the pump priming as it will slow the drill down some.

Ended up being the pump was not primed.
My mechanic gave me this thing that pressurized the whole system its like a tank that you put oil into and you hook a air compresser up to it.
You screw the feed line into one of the holes the pressure sensor goes into.
i set it to 20psi and turned it on filled the tank ran it through the motor.
After that i had pressure when i cranked the car over.
Car runs great! cel came on when it was first started will look into that later.
Did a compression test got 180 180 180 180.
Car was running lean though i need to figure out the safc a bit more..
