so im ripen my engine out, and i figure i may as well do a drivshaft since it goes clunk when i shift!! any one ever change the carrier bearing on a 1g ??? can i get just the carrier

or does any1 have one on a parts car i can have??? i know iv taken countless ones to the bone yard ...and now i need one !!:(

i got an auto 2g gsx and when i back out of my driveway, STOP, thrn shift to drive the rear goes DOOOOONK! is that fine?

Are you sure it's the rear and not the transmission?

it also growls...and on my way home lastnight, it started smelling like burnt rubber!!! i have to replace carrier!!! it also has alot of play!!
