hey everyone, I'm working on a 90 4g rebuild and am having trouble finding a good place to get my block bored at, I'm doing 20 over and nowhere around here uses torque plates. I wanted to know if any of you guys know of any good machine shops around the La Crosse area, now I'm not afraid to drive a bit so it doesn't have to be real close. thanks for the help

Theirs a ton of places that handle 4g blocks. Theirs TWO 6 bolt torque plates in the little town I live in alone, one at c&s performance, i'm sure AMS chicago has one, ect... you haven't looked that hard :)
P.S. If you don't plan on paying to have it balanced, it doesn't matter if they have the 4g63 plate or not.

AMS is extremely overpriced.. If you have a lot of money to throw away for a name go for it. I have a motor place here in town do mine. They specialize in big motors, but hes done a bunch of 4g63 motors also..

My race engine machine work was done at Goodwin Competition in Omro. Triple the price of the normal machine shops, but I am also putting down record numbers with my 7-BOLT. Nothing like 777AWHP on low boost with a partial tune!
Todd Goodwin and Beyond Redline know their stuff!

Most of them have belonged to boostin and talonmaster!

AMS doesn't even have there own machine shop. They're just the middle man. Apex does all their work and hes been doing mine lately too.
