Stupid job

OK, my employer managed to put the wrong SSN on my W2 form, so my taxes came back about two weeks after I was told they'd be back because I had to go back and find out if they'd been rejected from my tax guy. OK, no prob, right? No, the guy I was going to buy a tranny from just emailed me today to tell me that the tranny was no longer for sale, he put it in a friend's talon when his friend fried his tranny. If I just would have gotten my taxes back, I'd be getting a rebuilt tranny w/ double synchro 2nd and 3rd gears and low miles after rebuild for $560 shipped.

The only good note is that I've noticed that I can start my GST in 1st gear sometimes, so I'm going to check for an out-of-ajustment cable this weekend. If I'm really lucky, I won't need a new transmission. If not, anyone have a GST F5M33 tranny for sale?

For what year dsm? I do have a spare 1g turbo fwd tranny from a 90 talon.

I need the 2g F5M33. Out of curiosity, would the 1g F5M33 tranny fit on a 7-bolt?
