hx-40, fp3065, or gt35r
if you had to pick one to buy, what would it be, holset seems to be cheap bolt on, fp3065 bolts-on but quality costs more!, gt35 change setup but capable of little more power????

Right now the hx40 in my book is the best bang for the buck because there are plenty of housing from mitsu bolt on to t3 and t4. It just takes a little more to find the housing that you want to run. You can also run a Twin-scroll housing from t3 to t4 with the proper exhaust manifold. They spool really well for that size of turbo imo and can push a large amount of air. There also very serviceable and cheaper to rebuild. But a lot of this is of my own opinion.

The FP3065 has my vote. Someday hope to have one of these on my car.

hx-40 imo. My buddy has it on his talon right now....it's a monster! For the price you can't beat the performance it gives you.

Depends on your budget.. But I would personally go with the 3065..
What are you looking for in a turbo? Quick spool? Big top end? For tranny breaking awd fun, I'd go with a 3065 better yet I'd ditch the bolt on and to a 3076. Thats the turbo I would get if I were awd.

i want to run 11s, posibally 10s, and be able to drive it around.... is a FP HTA DSM82 Ball Bearing to big u think?? i dont want to much lag (for street driving) so far i always wanted the fp3065, what would a fp35?? spool at?
also it seems like the fp3065 would be better than a FP HTA DSM76, or not ? what do you think (for drivabilaty and all out race) fp3065 vs FPHTADSM76

I wouldnt go any bigger then the 65 if you want it to spool up for street driving.. By the time the thing spools you will be letting off the gas already... Although, It would be a fun turbo to have ;)

go HX40! my buddy is running low 11's but his trap speed is good for 10's easily. And it's awesome on the streets....he's hitting full boost at around 3600-4k also he's got a built head 272. But that thing screams on the streets. :)

As far as I know he's got a mildly built motor, stock intake mani and 1g throttle body. Here's his video....

ya I know the track looks downhill but it's not. It's just because the end of the track is up hill.
It's Byron in IL. Personally I think that track is way better than GLD and the tech guys don't give you any hassle at Byron.

I was running consistent low 13's and they never hassled me about a helmet where as GLD anything around low 14's and under being that I have a convertible you have to have a helmet.
